The girls trip blog was a HIT (if you missed it, catch up here), but the guys have spoken, and we can’t leave them out on the fun because they travel too!! And much like the ladies, planning a group trip can be a challenge! Between work, relationships, kids, families, and coaching, there are a host of obstacles that stand in the way of the dudes in our lives getting time with their squad. Nothing like having your male friends ask you for your assistance to plan a Guys Trip!
Guys Trips tend to be a bit simpler when it comes to planning because they don’t always care so much about the destination as long as they’re having fun. I asked some of my dads, married, single, and coach friends for some of the reasons why they look forward to getting away with the fellas.

Now that you have some reasons to go on a fellas trip, the million dollar question is: Where are you headed?. With a fellas trip it can be a combination of domestic, international or sporting events depending on your travel preferences. Some of my favorite destinations for domestic travel include Las Vegas, Miami, Houston, and New Orleans.
Looking to add passport stamps? Check out Los Cabos, Montego Bay, Cancun, or the Dominican Republic for a tropical trip. Ready to cross some sporting events off your Bucket List? Check out NCAA Men’s Final Four, an NFL experience in another city, or the Masters Golf Tournament.
When picking the destination, keep in mind that the time of year and the number of people traveling can affect your overall rate. Consider the size of your group and the travel preferences of your party when booking your overnight accommodations. You can choose from hotels, adults-only all-inclusive resorts, or even luxury vacation rentals (I did this with a GREAT group of girls in Belize! We had an oceanfront villa just for our group and it was a blast!)
Pro Tip: When deciding on a Sports Travel Event, always book with a Sports Travel Specialist as most of the major sporting events aren’t open for purchase unless you’re working with a Travel Advisor. Miami serves as the perfect multiple purpose destination for any fellas trips. Miami gives you many different hotel options to select from, making it easy to satisfy everyone in your party, and stay near all the action! Just steps away from Ocean Drive with plenty of restaurants to select from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Looking to catch some of your favorite sports games? One of the best things about vacationing in Miami is that you can plan a day trip to the Bahamas (but make sure you have your passport with you!). And of course, your Fellas Trip to Miami isn’t complete until you end your weekend with a bang at Events Mobile — LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau Miami Events and Tickets. There is no shortage of amazing things to do in Miami. Plus, the weather is amazing! Win-win!
Dominican Republic
Punta Cana vacation packages promise extraordinary, all-inclusive resorts and private vacation villas surrounded by glorious beaches and soaring palm trees that reach to the sky! Located on the easten shore of the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana is a real Caribbean gem. Guys tend to lean towards private vacation rentals because there’s usually a DJ friend that provides the music and a private rental allows you to have private cigar-rum events that you can’t typically get at a resort.

Sporting Events
Are you and your boys the ultimate sports fans? Take your show on the road by crossing some sporting events off your bucket list. The Men’s NCAA Final Four weekend is one of the most popular sports packages available.
