Matthew & Keisha's love story began in Nairobi in March 2022, when they both swiped right on the dating app Bumble. They had their first date at a restaurant called Harvest, where they discovered their lives intertwined in so many ways.

 

Surprisingly, Keisha had already crossed paths with Matthew's sister-in-law. Furthermore, Matthew's Mom and Keisha covered the same geographic region in their respective careers and were both returned Peace Corps Volunteers!

 

Keisha and Matthew continued dating and realized they shared mutual interests relating to family and life values, future goals and aspirations.

 

Matthew found Keisha to be endearing, brilliant, funny, well-traveled, generous and a wonderful friend to her companions and loved ones.

 

Keisha found Matthew to be intelligent, witty, ambitious, well-rounded and traveled, as well as a dependable friend and caring family member.

The two were soon smitten with one another and the close alignments of their lives were undeniable - they were truly meant to be! While visiting Matthew's ancestral home of Kakamega, Kenya, the two went on a beautiful hike in the Kakamega Rainforest, and shortly after, Matthew asked Keisha to be his girlfriend. She glady accepted and their journey to forever began!

Keisha and Matthew had a beautiful wedding in Kakamega, Kenya on Saturday, January 11, 2025, and they are super excited to join family, friends and loved ones for a marriage celebration in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, August 9, 2.025 at the Intercontinental Hotel.
