+ our love story
Hi, my name is Norbert, I mostly go by Pep and or Norb. I’m Jamaican by blood but I was born in America. I love to cook, and I'm a huge UFC fan. I have two handsome boys and a beautiful woman. I’m doing ight.
I was born and raised here in Cleveland, Ohio. I am a family girl who loves doing anything involving family time. I’ve been blessed with two beautiful boys Kayden and Khylan who brings me much joy. And I am lucky to be able to call their father my soon to be husband.
Brea and Norbert have known each other since meeting during their time working at Forever21. They both remember the First Kiss at the lake in downtown Cleveland. It was the second date and Brea asked Norbert how the night was going and he said, “I can show you better than I can tell you” and he leaned in for a kiss. Brea knew Norbert was "The One" literally when she first laid eyes on him, "I felt something. He flashed that big beautiful smile and my whole life flashed before my eyes and I knew I had to go for it. I never approached a guy before so it wasn’t easy but I had to see if something was there. Here we are 9 years later and I’m so glad I took the shot."
Brea and Norbert share two children together and love their family outings to the park, restaurants, or wherever as long as they are together.
She said YES!
Long story short I made 2 proposal plans. My first plan unfortunately flopped. It was our 8 year relationship anniversary, we went to a beautiful restaurant. I was waiting for the perfect opportunity but the moment I was looking for didn’t happen. So the next morning, she went out for a mini spa type of morning. While she was gone, I got some delicious breakfast, champagne, and had rose petals from the door leading to the table. I let her soak it in for a lil bit, then I popped out the corner and popped the famous question. “Brea Braxton will you marry me?”
I came home from a self care appointment one morning and as I entered the house I found a trail of rose petals leading to the kitchen where I found a beautiful brunch set up and then here he comes walking down the hallway with a little black box in his hand and all I could do was cry. I SAID YES!
